These terms govern your use of Vantage Logic. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Vantage Logic ("Vantage Logic", "we", "us", or "our") provides job costing, crew tracking, scheduling, and operations software for trades contractors. The service is operated from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. You can reach us at vantagelogic@outlook.com or 604-347-9947.
To use the service you create an account and verify your email. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you create logins for your crew or staff, you are responsible for those accounts and for the people you grant access to.
You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service.
New accounts include a free trial period. No payment information is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, your account moves to a read-only state until you subscribe. Your data is retained and remains accessible to view; you simply cannot add or change records until a paid subscription is active.
You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which the account returns to a read-only state. You may request export or deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
The information you and your crew enter, including jobs, hours, materials, costs, schedules, and related records, belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it. We store and process it solely to provide the service to you. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for any business, financial, payroll, or tax decisions you make based on what the service shows you.
You agree not to use the service to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other accounts, or interfere with the operation of the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We work to keep the service running reliably, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements or that the results or figures it produces will be free of error. Vantage Logic is a tool to help you see your numbers; it is not a substitute for professional accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, legal, or tax advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantage Logic and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vantage Logic from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to us, other users, or third parties. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including sections on data, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved.
