This policy explains what information Vantage Logic collects, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We keep it short and plain because that is how we would want it explained to us.

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, company name, email address, and a password (stored in encrypted form, never in plain text).
Information you enter. To provide the service, we store the operational data you and your crew put into it: jobs, hours, materials, costs, cost codes, schedules, inventory, mileage, requests, and similar records.
Crew accounts. If you create logins for your crew, we store their email and the records associated with their work.
Payment information. When you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your subscription status and a customer reference, but we do not collect or store your full card number.
Basic technical data. Like most online services, our infrastructure may automatically log limited technical information such as IP address and request times to keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party advertising in the service.
We share information only with the service providers we need to run Vantage Logic, and only to the extent required for them to do their job:
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Vantage Logic, our users, or the public. We do not otherwise share your data with third parties.
Each company's data is kept separate. Your crew see only what their role allows, and other companies using Vantage Logic cannot see your data.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists so the service continues to work for you. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords, secured credentials, and access controls. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to address issues promptly if they arise.
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
